System Requirements

Before installing and using the MemberSync plugin, it is important to ensure that your WordPress website meets the minimum system requirements. The system requirements for MemberSync are as follows:

    • WordPress Version: MemberSync requires WordPress at least version 4.0 or higher to be installed on your website, tested to version 5.3.2. It is recommended that you keep your WordPress installation up-to-date to ensure compatibility with MemberSync.
    • PHP Version: MemberSync requires at least PHP version 7 or higher to be installed on your web server. It is recommended that you use the latest stable version of PHP for optimal performance.

  1. To prevent issues, make sure to install the specified dependency plugin stack.

    • Install LearnDash LMS : Install and activate the LearnDash LMS by LearnDash. This is a powerful and flexible learning management system plugin for WordPress, enabling you to create and manage courses, quizzes, and certifications online. Once purchased you can download the plugin from "Subscription" tab on your account.
    • Install WooCommerce: Install and activate the WooCommerce by Automattic. This plugin will provide the core functionality for creating and managing your online store. This plugin is included with your purchase of LearnDash and can be found under "Plugins & Add-ons" tab
    • Install WooCommerce Memberships: Install and activate theWooCommerce Memberships by SkyVerge. This plugin provides a powerful membership system for your store.

  1. Install the following Suggested Plugin Stack for creating a robust and integrated online store experience. There will just be some functions that will not work if this plugins were not installed and there will be some additional integration once they are installed:
    • Install WooCommerce for LearnDash : Install and activate the WooCommerce for LearnDash by LearnDash. This plugin allows you to sell your LearnDash courses as WooCommerce products.
    • Install Teams for WooCommerce Memberships: Install and activate the Teams for WooCommerce Memberships by SkyVerge. This plugin allows you to sell group memberships or group access to your courses. 
    • Install WooCommerce Subscriptions: Install and activate the WooCommerce Subscriptions by WooCommerce. This plugin enables recurring revenue with this plugin, allowing customers to subscribe to your offerings on a weekly, monthly, or yearly basis
  2. Optional plugin installation for better experience
    • Install WooCommerce Stripe Gateway: Install and activate the WooCommerce Stripe Gateway by WooCommerce . This plugin allows you to accept payments using the Stripe payment gateway.
    • Install Multiple Roles: Install and activate the Multiple Roles By Christian Neumann . This plugin allows you to assign multiple roles to users. While it does not have a user interface for role editing, it extends the capabilities of WordPress roles. Install this plugin for enhanced role management and configuration.
